Tailored to Each Break

Whether your student is in their first year, a continuing student, or entering their final semester, these checklists are meant to be used as a reference point and guide for conversations with your student. Each checklist provides questions and to-do items that may be relevant to your student. Additionally, it has linked information related to resources and support services for Texas A&M students. You can access the checklists online or print them as a PDF and they are available in English or Spanish.

Winter Break

While winter break is all about cozy family time and maybe even some epic vacations, it’s also the perfect chance to connect with your student, celebrate their successes, and chat about what’s ahead! Winter break can be a great time for you to check in on your student’s progress, plan for the Spring semester, and start conversations about Summer.

Spring Break

Spring Break may not be as long as Winter Break, but it is a well-deserved break from classes for students. Spring break can be a valuable time to check in on their progress, finalize plans for the rest of the semester and the summer, and prepare for the Fall semester.

Summer Break

Whether your student plans to come home for Summer Break or stay in Aggieland, Summer Break provides a great chance to reflect on your student’s past year, prepare for the upcoming Fall semester, and explore plans for internships, jobs, or other opportunities.
